2. butterfly

Music by Adylla

Lyrics by Silian @ Adylla

Arranged by Victor @ Adylla

I open my eyes then send a greeting to the sky

I crawl outside and fantasize

"Look, a pretty butterfly!"

Wait until I flutter by

And overpaint your summer sky

I soar up high with a smile

I'd dance upon a thousand miles    ah..

All the flowers with petals are lush and wide

In my wandering eyes

And I'm carrying new life as I fly

My calling never subsides

ah..

Now the mountains are raging red and bright

It's a crimson light

All the trees, leaves, and rivers are ashing to gray

They're soon all fading away

"Coimhead as deidh mo shaoghal  Mo shaoghal àlainn cho làn

Ach an milleadh a-rinn iad   Mo chridh nisd chan eil slàn"

(Watching over my world, so full of beauty, untold

Yet the harm they caused, left my heart not whole)

Cause you light up the fire and kiss our home goodbye

The evil flame burns our tears to dry

All I saw are utter lies

Lying by the window side

The noises are magnified

I close my eyes then realize

The world is full of disguise

3. the moment

Music and lyrics by Silian @ Adylla

Arranged by Adylla

The moment when after many years

Look back to life seems full of tears

You conquered all of your fears

Holding a wine glass and say cheers…

The moment when after many years

You’re wrapped in a thick leaves of a money tree

Intoxicated with ecstasy

Whispering softly to me…. “I own this”

The moment when, I unloose my arms

Stepping away from your mendacious charm

It’s the moment when we’ve come to an end

It is the fate of your own intent

The moment you chose not to care

Filling your life with plastic ware

Set up your company and share

Spreading the micro-plastic in the air…

The moment instead of planting trees,

Chopping them down and build factories

Releasing toxin in ocean deep

It was enough to make me weep

The moment when, I unloose my arms

Stepping away from your mendacious charm

It’s the moment when we’ve come to an end

It is the fate of your own intent

Ah…

The birds stop singing, the cliffs start crumbling,

The air moves away, and you stop your breathing

It’s the moment to let you realise

You’ll return to us right after you pass…

4. another moment

Music by Adylla

Lyrics by Silian @ Adylla

Arranged by Victor @ Adylla

Stepping on a big cold rock

Stepping through a toxic space thickened with fear

Stepping past a world that’s grey

Maybe just a dream- when will we wake?

Longing for your touch

Longing for your hug

Longing for your shine

Longing for your tears

Will we stay drunk in the darkness

Will there be hope among us

Will the world forgive what we did

Unfold our eyes and let us see the path

Longing for your touch

Longing for your hug

Longing for your shine

Longing for your tears

It’s another moment that I’ve been dreaming of

I don’t know what it is yet I know it exists

No matter how hard to run

No matter how long it takes

I’ll see you there…

5. rain, after rain

Music by Adylla

Lyrics by Silian @ Adylla

Arranged by Victor @ Adylla

Raindrops, when will you be falling down?

When will you be raining hard?

Clean the dust and wash the yard?

In the calmness raindrops, softly tapping on the ground

Pitter-patter is the sound, its a sign of lives abound…

You’re the rhythm of the sky

A Pulsing beat upon the ripple eyes

dance and spread out far and wide

and take me to…where I’ll be found…

Teardrops, when will you be falling down?

When will you be running hard? Will you ever break my guard?

In the midnight teardrops, let emotions lead  you in sway

Wash the pain of yesterday, cleanse my heart’s enthrall away

You’re the raindrops of my heart

Tik tak tik tak sorrow falls apart

I close my eyes and let you trickle down my cheek

Grief’s embrace setting me free

When rain ceases, sun reappears…

faded lingering fears..

tears dry, joy arrives…I’ll see a rainbow in the sky

Shining dews, the air’s sweet, Breathing in anew

A soothing release, a moment of peace..

I’ll spend my life with a smile

You’re the raindrops of my heart

Tik tak tik tak sorrow falls apart

I close my eyes and let you trickle down my cheek

Grief’s embrace setting me free

Raindrops, when will you be falling down?

When will you be falling down?

Teardrops, when will you be falling down?

When will you be falling down?

6. rainsonance

(instrumental)

Music by Adylla

Arranged by Victor @ Adylla

Tears flow as rivers of release and cleansing; sorrow and frustration are simply the sacred mirrors reflecting the depths of your heart.

Allow yourself to crumble only so you may gather the pieces, rebuild your life, and rise to dance with the wind once more.

7. seed of life

Music by Adylla

Lyrics by Silian @ Adylla

Arranged by Victor @ Adylla

Here dawns my essence, feeling alive, amidst the vast unknown.

Then I run, running to my brink, now the two realms unite.

A place where I was born, it’s dark yet warm.

I stand in the field of night and day, let light guide me to life.

Seek the Light (as I walk), Seek the Light… (as I breathe). Seek the Light within… (weaving cosmic signs).

Be the light (in my shape), Be the light (in my almond shape) . Be the light within… (weaving cosmic signs).

Walking in solitude.

One step at a time.

Toward the light inside.

We’ll find each other, one by one. Let our worlds intertwine.

Then the seasons bloom, our seed unfolds, revealing true divine.

When one of us starts to fade, we all shine in the way

With hearts and hands hold tight, we’ll rise above the haze (we’ll light up all your days)

Seek the light(as we dance), seek the light… (as we breathe). Seek the light in we… (weaving cosmic signs).

We’re the light (in our shape), we’re the light… (the seed of life). We’re the light you see… (weaving cosmic signs).

Seek the light(as we dance), seek the light… (as we soar). Seek the light in we… (weaving cosmic signs).

We’re the light (in our shape), we’re the light… (the seed of life). We’re the light you see… (weaving cosmic signs).

Growing our seed of life,

toward the next petal.

It’s noumenal…

8. ashes to life

Music by Adylla

Lyrics by Silian @ Adylla

Arranged by Victor @ Adylla

Cradled by the ashes, I am reborn.

The light, the touch, the whisper… I stand strong.

I don’t mind staying here all by myself.

I don’t mind striving through the storm alone.

No matter how cruel the wind may howl...

no matter how harsh the world will be...

I’ll take my time to root, my time to rise, until I find you..

Getting to know Adylla

Musically, Adylla blends progressive rock, post-rock, ambient, pop, and new age influences. The focus lies in atmosphere, emotional layering, and gradual unfolding, allowing the music to breathe rather than overwhelm.

The creative foundation of Ashes to Life is rooted in nature — in observing cycles of depletion, burning, renewal, and quiet persistence. Rather than addressing environmental themes directly, Adylla turns these observations inward, toward mindfulness, spiritual awareness, and presence.

Rooted in Toronto’s Chinese-speaking (primarily Cantonese) community, Adylla’s first language is Chinese, while its songs are written primarily in English. Certain emotions and states of awareness, we believe, move beyond language and cultural boundaries.

Adylla is carried by two creators: Victor Low, a guitarist and composer from Malaysia, and Silian Wong, a singer-songwriter from Hong Kong. Adylla does not belong to any single culture or language, but to anyone willing to slow down and listen inward.

Silian Wong is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter, pianist, and multilingual vocalist whose musical journey spans Canada and Hong Kong. From 2010 to 2012, she toured as a backing vocalist for Cantopop icon Jacky Cheung. She also released Unitopia, a conceptual album featuring 10 national anthems in eight languages. During her years in Hong Kong, she built an extensive career performing at corporate events and working on commercial recordings, before developing her voice as a songwriter with her original EP Insomnia, including a semi-finalist entry and a Special Mention in the 2019 UK Songwriting Contest.

Now, as co-founder of Adylla, Silian brings together her Chinese roots and Western upbringing through music inspired by nature and the human experience. Her inspirational songwriting merges naturally with Adylla’s post-progressive rock sound, while her expressive vocals invite listeners into atmospheric soundscapes that encourage reflection, connection, and a deeper awareness of the world around us. She also leads Adylla’s visual creative direction, shaping the artwork and imagery that bring the duo’s musical world to life.

Born on February 8, 1988, in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia, Victor Low began his musical path with piano lessons from ages seven to ten, followed by classical guitar at thirteen and self-taught electric guitar. A lifelong indie rock fan since 2004, he started his professional music and teaching career in Kuala Lumpur at age 19 , all while continuing a steady career as a music educator, performer and composer that he began as a teenager.

In Malaysia, Victor built a strong presence in the indie music scene. He co-founded two indie bands—Puzzle, which released an EP in 2014 and turned commercial in 2015, and Sedsuna, which released an album in 2016. Puzzle was nominated for the 2015 PWH Award “best group/band” and “new artist”.

Alongside his band work, he built a career as a commercial musician playing pubs, events, and concerts starting in 2011.

Victor moved to Canada permanently in 2016. Today, he is one of the founding members, composer and music arranger of Adylla and works as a music director and guitarist for major productions like Gosan and Snowy Starry Fest

“Ashes to Life” featured musicians:

They are the bridge built out of resonance to carry Adylla from where we are to where we are meant to be.

“Thank you for walking this path with us, for making the music speaks in a language we can all feel.

You are the heartbeat of this stage.”

- Adylla

Ashes to Life series:

"Ashes to Life" album

Vinyl: CAD 80 | CD: CAD 25

Ashes to Life is a debut album by Adylla, exploring transformation through the lens of nature, inner awareness, and quiet continuation.

The album originates from observing the natural world — its beauty, fragility, and cycles of depletion and renewal. Fire, ash, rain, seeds, and light recur throughout the songs, not as symbols to decode, but as lived experiences mirrored both outside and within us.

Ashes to Life reflects on how human intention, neglect, and desire shape the world — and how awareness, grief, and stillness may open a path forward.

There is no dramatic rebirth here.
Life does not return through force, but through patience.

Ashes to Life does not seek to persuade or instruct.
It offers space — for listening, feeling, and remembering what remains alive beneath the ashes.

About

Across many cultures, writing and burning words has long been a way to release thoughts and send intentions beyond the visible world.

In ancient East Asia, people wrote prayers, wishes, or confessions and burned them as offerings to the spirit world. In ancient Greece and Rome, written offerings or message…

About

Single-use utensils and plastics are often used for only a few minutes, yet they can remain in the environment for hundreds of years.

“The moment you chose not to care,
filling your life with plastic ware.”
— The Moment, Adylla

Each year, billions are discarded, many ending up in landfills, rivers, and oceans, where they slowly break down into microplastics that spread through soil and water.

Choosing reusable utensils is a small step toward reducing waste and caring for the world we share. Sometimes change begins with small choices.

Ashes to Life, in every embrace.

Seed of Life Series:

“Seed of Life” necklace

CAD 25

The Seed of Life is a sacred geometric symbol formed by seven interlocking circles, representing creation, the origins of existence, interconnectedness, and harmony in nature. It is also the foundation of the Flower of Life.

Adylla’s Seed of Life reflects a journey of:

awakening → searching → connection → collective illumination → transcendence.

Many seek truth in the outer world, yet the deepest answers already reside within.

Wear this Seed of Life necklace as a quiet reminder:

“Seek the light within.”

3 colour options: black, gold and silver.

“Seed of Sound” Guitar Pick (set of 4)

CAD 10

Heart-touching music is not defined by the number of notes, but by the sensitivity of a single touch.
With true emotion and the right pick, even the smallest strike can leave a lasting resonance in the hearts of others.

This pick is a Seed of Sound — a reminder that a small, mindful choice can grow into something far greater.

“Seed of Sound” Keychain

A small reminder that even the smallest touch can create lasting resonance.

Visionary support

To all those whose generosity breathed wind into our sails:

Thank you for standing beside the "Ashes to Life" concert. Your support was far more than a contribution; it was the quiet, steady spark that helped beauty rise from the embers and turn melody into meaning.

Because of your belief in this vision, your supports became a symphony, and a shared story found its voice. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in this artistic journey.
